A travesty, this part of me that cannot see what's real. Object forgot, my mind begot a filter set to feel. Proceed withdrawn, with blinders on, and never peak outside. Afraid to find another mind, one that could misguide. Within I confide. In myself I can find anything that's right. In a sense, innocence is ignorance. But there is nothing pure about being naive. I fear the day when I'm forced to accept the change that I've been resisting for long years now. I just can't seem to let it go. I see something in front of me. Waiting for it to be right here right now. Determine the discipline I hold within my mind. I've resigned myself, now I must evolve. Surmount concern, continue.
